Is there a way I can embed a link that opens a OneDrive PDF with Adobe Acrobat, instead of navigating to

I'm trying to build pages in OneNote that act as an internal "wiki" of sorts, and link to files in my OneDrive. A lot of these files are PDFs, and if I link to OneDrive, they end up getting opened in my browser... I'd like to have them opened with my native PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat, or Mac Preview). Any clue how this might be done?

You can use OneNoteGem add-ins to do this if you use OneNote's cloud attachment.

OneNoteGem's Exe, UWP, Mac add-ins can to open Cloud PDF in onedrive folder in Windows and Mac system.

EXE: Using Local Software to Open a Cloud Attachment from OneNote 2016, 2013, 2010 for Editing

MAC: Using Local App to Edit Cloud Attachment in OneNote

UWP: Using Local Applications to Edit Cloud Attachments in OneNote
